Dinner with Darren Robertson | Sydney
Join Darren Robertson at Three Blue Ducks Rosebery for a special Selector Magazine Dinner Event on Thursday 14th of March. The UK-born chef and restaurateur will serve up four delicious courses featured in the Jan/Feb 2019 issue of Selector with each course perfectly paired with premium Australian wines.
Darren’s signature coastal cuisine is the culmination of a colourful culinary career that started in the UK under the tutelage of Michelin-starred chef Mark Raffan, before eight years at world famous Tetsuya’s in Sydney, where he rose to the position of head chef.
After so much prestige and pedigree, Darren tried something entirely different with a series of pop-ups and ‘Table Sessions’ including one at the Three Blue Ducks in Bronte. The dinner was a big success and became the catalyst for the café evolving, Darren forming a partnership with the original ducks to open as a restaurant by night.
Today, Darren is co-owner of the Three Blue Ducks, found in Bronte, Rosebery, Byron Bay and Brisbane, as well as part-owner of Rocker, in North Bondi. He lives in Byron Bay with his young family where the Ducks crew is part of an extraordinary farm collective that sees a true from paddock to plate philosophy in practice.
The dishes you will enjoy at this event embody the wholesome coastal cuisine ideology all matched with great Australian wines. This event will sell out quickly, so book now to ensure you seat at the table for this wonderful evening of food, wine and fun.
