Mt Pleasant Dinner Stories | Newcastle
Mount Pleasant is one of the Hunter Valley’s iconic wine estates known for its vibrant Semillons and expressive
Shiraz. It is with great pleasure the custodian of this iconic Australian wine treasure, McWilliam’s Wine Group, presents an evening of highly awarded wines presented by Mount Pleasant Chief Winemaker, Adrian Sparks.
Join Adrian and his team for an evening of stunning wines created in the style of Mount Pleasant’s first winemaker and one of wine’s greatest craftsmen, Maurice O’Shea. This impressive line-up includes Mount Pleasant Lovedale Semillon, 2018 NSW Wine of the Year Old Paddock & Old Hill Shiraz, and a 30-year Old Rare Tawny.
The wines will be expertly matched as part of a four-course dinner, prepared by Restaurant Mason chef and owner, Chris Thornton. Chris’ exquisite menu will feature scallops on arrival, then market-fresh fish, through to Dalwood lamb and a decadent dessert, all prepared to showcase and celebrate locally sourced ingredients.
Tickets for this special dinner are $145 per person, will sell out fast!
