Do you know your Champagne from your Australian Sparkling, your Cava from your Prosecco? Hosted by Selector publisher, Paul Diamond with our partners Moët Hennessy, we’ll have all the bubbles on show for you to sample and learn the difference between the styles.
Starting with Cava, you’ll compare the Frexinet Cordon Negro with the Segura Viudas Reserva Heredad Cava, before pitting the Albina Armani, an Italian Prosecco, against the Box Grove Vineyard Prosecco 2016 from Australia. Then it’s France v Australia, with the Ruinart Blanc de Blanc NV alongside the Whitlands Plateau Blanc de Blanc 2013, the Moët Grand Vintage 2009 to compare with the Chandon Vintage 2009, and in the Rosé, the Moët Rosé NV beside the Chandon Rosé NV. Finally, it’s that Aussie specialty, Sparkling Shiraz compared with a Sparkling Malbec, the Gapsted Limited Release Sparkling Saperavi.
