Dandelion Vineyards is a unique fusion of vineyards and vignerons across McLaren Vale, Barossa, Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu and Eden Valley. Dandelion wines represent decades of experience, blending the fruit of our heirloom vineyards with the finest traditions of artisan winemaking. Dandelion Vineyards is a combination of old vineyards, a young winemaker, and a couple of mates to help out in-between, which we believe makes for the ideal winery. Dandelion wines produce varieties such as Shiraz, Cabernet, Mataro, Grenache, Riesling, Merlot, and Pedro Ximénez.
Founder and Chief Winemaker Elena Brooks' advice for winemaking is simple - "Listen, look, taste – soil, leaves, grapes, wines – especially all great wines that came before you. All vineyards and varieties do the talking but only if you listen. And never compromise quality. Make the wines you love and want to drink and want to share proudly."
