Tulloch Wines

Celebrating 125 years of Hunter Valley winemaking in 2020, the Tulloch family are one of the most famous wine dynasties in Australia. The company had its start in 1895 when John Younie Tulloch, who owned the Branxton General Store, accepted a 43 acre property to settle a debt. Situated in Pokolbin, this property was home to some neglected Shiraz vines that John decided to reinvigorate – the family’s first foray into winemaking.

Today, Tulloch Wines is in the hands of 3rd generation and Hunter Valley Living Legend Jay Tulloch, along with daughter Christina Tulloch. A modern Australian brand, Tulloch as built a reputation for being an innovative producer of premium wines that suit the taste of wine-lovers of all ages.

Tulloch Wines

Every Tulloch wine is imbued with a colourful story. From Hector Tulloch’s Pokolbin Dry Red Shiraz through to Jay Tulloch’s renowned Verdelho and Christina’s dry Rosé. Every Tulloch wine you taste represents the mark each generation of the family has made on the brand.

Tulloch Cellar Door

Tulloch opened its beautiful Pokolbin cellar door in 2004, and saw the birth of Tulloch’s cellar door food and wine experiences. Tulloch’s range of experiences fits perfectly with their philosophy of Wine Your Way.

"Guests come in and decide how they want to taste our wines and the wine experience you want to have and the wine journey you’re going to go on with Tulloch,” Christina Tulloch describes. “We also recognise people might be drinking wine for the first time or they might be a wine connoisseur and you’ve got to cater for all those people and we are quite unashamedly proud of that."
