The Drayton's are one of the Hunter Valley's pioneering winemaking families and it is one of the few companies that is still family owned and operated. It has been over 140 years since the first Drayton trod on rich Hunter Valley soil.
This fortified is a blend of aged (7-12 years) Tawny Ports matured in large oak casks in the Drayton's Hunter Valley winery. Tawny brown in colour with an olive tinge. The nose exhibits strong, nutty aromas complicated with oak and rancio characters. Nutty and complex, yet fairly light bodied and fresh, the palate has a long lasting and smooth finish.
