Allandale Semillon 2014

While you might not normally give much thought to vintage, you really should with this Hunter Valley Semillon. It’s from 2014, a year about which Allandale chief winemaker, Bill Sneddon said, “Our expectations have well and truly been met.”
 
In the glass: Bright pale lemon.
On the nose: Lifted aromas of lemon
meringue and light florals.
On the palate: A traditional style of Hunter Valley Semillon that’s a fresh, zesty and crisp yet generous style that’s driven by appealing mouth-watering acidity and lovely citrussy energy to finish.
