Allanmere Reserve Cabernet Merlot 2011

Located in the lower Hunter Valley, Allanmere Wines is now part of the well-known Hunter Valley winery, First Creek. This Cabernet Merlot blend is by the highly acclaimed Liz Jackson and is a velvety soft wine with plenty of regional appeal.
 
This medium red coloured blend abounds in bright, spicy cherry berry and sweet oak aromas. The palate is medium weight with a ripe mix of red and black fruit flavours and cedary oak in the background. Soft, velvety tannins provide lovely texture to the finish.
