From his small cool climate Yarra Valley vineyard, winemaker Al Fencaros strives to produce wines that not only stimulate our sense of sight, smell and taste, but, he says, “also our tactile sense – the wine should feel pleasurable on the palate.”
This Chardonnay presents ripe stonefruit and lime with notes of sea spray and background cedary oak. The palate has a fresh, fruit-driven entry opening to a mouth-filling style with a creamy complexity and fresh acidity. Really intense, vibrant and youthful – a well made wine with all elements in harmony.
