Semillon is the Hunter Valley hero varietal and this Annasdale Semillon 2012 is a great wine for those who are new to or just discovering what all of the fuss is about.
 
This pale straw coloured Semillon is an early- drinking style made by 2012 International White Winemaker of the Year, Neil McGuigan. It has restrained lemon, grapefruit and lanolin aromas with a zesty lemon fruit tingle-like richness and a hint of pea pod. A lovely fresh palate with a soft texture, crisp acidity and good balance.
