I stumbled across this gem of a producer, hidden down a gravel road between Caves Road and the beach, in the north of the region. Their terrifically flavoursome wines have already been cellared to perfection.
In the glass: Full red.
On the nose: Rich, lifted currant, cassis, cigar box and cedar.
On the palate: Intense and concentrated with layers of dark fruit, Xmas cake, cedary oak and ripe yet still firm tannins. Will continue softening in the cellar.
