Tasting Panellist, Dave Mavor stumbled across this gem of a producer, hidden down a gravel road between Caves Road and the beach, in the north of the region.
In the glass: Medium red, fantastic for its age.
On the nose: Lifted plum, herb, white pepper.
On the palate: Dense and dark yet medium weight and elegant, surprisingly fresh and primary with layers of red fruit, spice and cedary oak. A dense and muscular wine, developing well with amazing line and length.
