Balgownie’s Bendigo vineyard originally consisted of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz vines, which are still the mainstay of the vineyard today. Winemaker Tobias Anstead has produced a deep, dark red Shiraz with ripe, plummy intensity on the nose and sweet, juicy berry flavours in the mouth. Mid weight but intense, it has subtle licorice and chocolate richness, which will have you going back for more.
