From a very consistent vintage in Western Australia, this wine has been crafted primarily from Shiraz with the addition of 7% Viognier. Both varieties were co-fermented and hand-plunged for two weeks in open fermenters to extract colour and flavour.
This range is named after the Barking Owls which frequent Millbrook’s vineyard. Opening with a sweet nose of spice, cherry, plum, mint and florals, this Shiraz offers quite a rich and savoury palate yet with softness and spice, lovely fine tannins, good balance of acidity, and oak and long flavour persistence.
