Battle of Bosworth Chanticleer Shiraz 2013

This organic Shiraz is named after the vineyard from which it was sourced, a site which the winery describes as having “a unique flavour profile and personality.”
 
In the glass: Very dense, deep red black.
On the nose: Beautiful perfumes of kirsch, cherry and tsatsuma plum sit happily with liquorice, sandalwood and coffee.
On the palate: Intense and bright fruit underpinned by terrific oak with very focussed red and black fruit, hints of spearmint, a fine structure and very fine oak tannins throughout. A powerful yet reserved wine.
