Richard Done is becoming a winemaker to watch in the Hunter Valley, especially with alternative varieties, and this Nebbiolo, made from Hilltops fruit shows why.
Mid garnet colour. Dark cherry, crushed petals, pot pourri and black pepper aromas. Spicy, crunchy and vibrant with lashings of red fruit, mouth-watering acidity, prominent varietal tannins, and a spice-laden, peppery finish. A lovely Nebbiolo.
