Before becoming a vigneron, Bleasdale’s Frank Potts was a boat builder. This blend is a tribute to one of his creations, the ‘Petrel’, which he built in 1840. It was blended from some of 2010’s best parcels of Shiraz, Cabernet and Malbec.
Made by Peter Perrin, it has a ripe and rich, inky and deep nose showing blackberry and concentrated black cherry aromas. The palate is dense and deep with inky concentration over deliciously deep yet velvety tannins.
