Sarah Gough planted Negroamaro because of its sun-drenched Southern Italian origins, which she thought would thrive in the hot, dry summers of Central Victoria. She chose well!
Medium red colour. Dark cherry, forest floor and baked earth. Medium-weight, soft and juicy, with an almost Pinot-like structure, a core of cherry chocolate flavours, velvety tannins, bright acidity and a long, supple finish.
