Bress wines are produced from grapes grown using biodynamic farming practices with this Riesling grown on their 29 year old vineyard situated in the Harcourt Valley in central Victoria.
Medium lemon straw in colour, this Riesling is showing delicate lime fruit aromas with a slightly mealy lift. It features a sweet core of citrus, lychee and melon fruit with hints of almond, honey and beeswax, that’s a real departure from traditional Australian Riesling styles, showing almost German Kabinett-like characteristics. The palate has a lovely vibrant texture with a mealy complexity adding interest and a point of difference.
