Planted in the early 1970s, the Maxwell vineyard has supplied great Chardonnay to the Hunter Valley’s Brokenwood Wines for many years including this one from the 2014 vintage.
In the glass: Pale lemon green.
On the nose: Apple, nectarine, smoked almond, brioche and toasty oak.
On the palate: A finely polished with an energetic line of acidity. Fresh lively and mouth-filling revealing more complexity with each sip. Full-bodied, juicy, long and flavoursome.
