Bundaleer Montepulciano 2015

In the glass: Deep, dark red.
On the nose: Youthful dark plum and cedar notes with toches of graphite and tar.
On the palate: Rich, ripe, dense and sweet dark berry fruit including plum, mulberry and currant with notes of iodine, damp earth and dusty oak. The acidity is fresh but soft, the tannins are gentle and there's good length and potential. A gentle giant with a lovely rustic touch. Another example that will be even better in 12-18 months.
