Merlot is making a bit of a comeback as a stand-alone variety in Australian wine drinking circles, and it's wine's like this that are driving it. Lovely early-drinking.
Mid-ruby colour. Youthful aromas of cherry, amaro, iodine, crushed leaf and cedar. Clean and bright with a juicy mix of red and blue fruit in a light to medium-bodied style, with soft peppery tannins, and a dry, savoury finish.
