From the Calcannia vineyard just north of the Clare township, this savoury Italian-inspired red really packs a punch, with terrific fruit depth and excellent tannin freshness.
Medium density garnet. Black tea, amaro, cherry and cranberry aromas. Quite powerful and brooding with long and ferrous tannins under the deep mix of red fruit, savoury tannins and quality oak on the long finish. A very generous and intriguing wine.
