A blend of Cabernet and Ruby Cabernet, described by Colin Campbell as “a lovely rich, flavoursome red wine enhanced by spicy oak and so works well with the big flavours of the Middle East.”
Deep earthy red in appearance, it has a lifted nose of black fruits, cassis and dried herbs with a touch of varietal mint and gunsmoke. Medium weight yet ripe and juicy, it features fresh red and blackcurrant fruits with minty, spicy background notes. The oak is savoury and well-judged, while the tannins are fine, mouth-filling and earthy through to the plummy, succulent finish.
