Following fermentation and extended maceration, this wine has been matured in new and old French oak barriques, increasing texture and producing an unmistakable Margaret River Cabernet character.
Fruit for this delicious Cabernet Sauvignon was picked from ‘The Scholar’ vineyard. It opens with lifted currant, cassis and vanillin oak aromas, while the palate shows beautiful texture in a seamless, delicate, medium-weight style with ripe tannins and chocolatey length.
