Crafted from vines planted by Gary Crittenden in1982, the Crittenden Estate The Zumma Chardonnay 2013 is a wine of poise and character. It opens with great aromatic complexity with spicy bees wax, honey, flinty minerality and tight tropical fruits on the nose and boasts an elegant palate with a tight core of apples, pears, limes and attractive tingly acid length.
Made from premium Yarra Valley fruit by winemaker Franco D’Anna, the Hoddles Creek Estate 1er Chardonnay 2011 has complex, lifted aromas of cashew, stonefruit, lees and oak. The plush, chewy and nutty palate has a tight core of white peach, citrus and melon. It’s complex yet balanced by firm acidity with terrific oak in support and will reward time in the cellar.
