Carillion Cabernet Merlot Petit Verdot 2016

A terrific example of the classic Bordeaux blend showing the mintiness so typical of cool climate Cabernet.
 
In the glass: Vibrant deep red purple.
On the nose: Spicy red and dark berry lift.
On the palate: Vibrant and intense with strong minty varietal fruit and an underlying curranty richess. Very fragrant and cassis dominant with vanillin oak and fine acidity in support. Surprisingly soft for its age with a lovely juicy texture.
