Verduzzo is not a well known variety, but one that will excite anyone who likes Chardonnay or richer white wines.
In the glass: Very pale straw with a fine persistent bead.
On the nose: Fresh and lifted with apple, pear and light confectionary notes.
On the palate: A new discovery from the cool climate Orange region, it is textural and rich, yet presents fresh white fruit characters, beautifully crisp acidity and a delicate, fresh finish. Ripe and clean – an excellent aperitif.
