A traditional method, 'ripasso' (repassed) involves using the current vintage grape pressings and adding them to an older vintage which adds texture and complexity.
Youthful dark red. Complex nose of pot pourri, blackberry, plum and cedar. Well balanced with Merlot adding softness to the firm Aglianico, showing plush red and blue fruit, deep yet soft tannins, supple acidity and a rich, juicy finish.
