Cumulus Wines source the fruit for their Climbing range from low yielding vines set on the ancient soils of their Orange vineyard that sits at an elevation of above 600m. The result is beautifully complex wines like this 2011 Merlot.
 
Youthful red in the glass, it features sweet plummy varietal aromas and a touch of leaf and mint. Its fresh, lifted palate has a nice core of varietal fruit and youthful acidity. A fine cool climate style.
