Rutherglen’s young-gun winemakers have been reinvigorating this traditional region and producing terrific classic varietals such as this flavoursome Durif.
In the glass: Deep, dark red.
On the nose: Vanillin oak, mocha, raspberry, black plum, tobacco and forest floor.
On the palate: Flavour-packed in a traditional style with a deep and full core of dark fruit, robust peppery tannins, charry oak, smoked meat complexity and a spicy finish.
