Coppabella Chardonnay 2013

Chardonnay loves a cool climate and Tumbarumba is the coldest mainland wine region in Australia, resulting in, as Coppabella’s winemaker Jason Brown says, “wines of purity, expression and elegance” like this 2013 vintage.
 
This Chardonnay opens with lifted white peach and melon fruit aromas with subtle layers of smoky oak. Delicate yet intense, the palate features very citrussy varietal fruit, some herbaceous notes and fine oak in support. A subtle grilled almond note adds complexity to the long, juicy finish.
