This is only Coriole’s third release of Nero d’Avola, but they’re proving their prowess, with this stunner picking up a Gold medal at the 2016 Royal Sydney Wine Show.
In the glass: Medium density dark red.
On the nose: Exudes a fresh red and dark cherry, herb and violet perfume.
On the palate: Medium weight yet quite intense, it has raspberry and redcurrant fruit freshness and lifted acidity. Very youthful, lively and Pinot in style with light, silken tannins and lingering savoury spice.
