Coriole Lloyd Reserve Shiraz 2009

Lloyd Reserve Shiraz is produced from a single vineyard at Coriole that was planted in 1919 with the first wine released in 1989. This particular wine was matured in French oak for approximately 18 months and was then left to mature in-bottle for over a year prior to its release.
 
The deep red to purple colour of this Reserve Shiraz is instantly appealing and the aromas prove just as satisfying. A nose of brooding dark fruit, spice, lashings of licorice and deluxe oak leads to a hugely concentrated palate with powerful black fruits, dark chocolate and spice flavours, plus fresh acidity and lively tannins. This
is a delicious wine with great potential.
