As the name suggests, fruit for this Pinot Noir has been sourced from independent Mornington Peninsula grape growers with whom Crittenden Estate has great respect and a long-standing relationship.
This 2013 Pinot Noir is a beautiful wine with sweet, perfumed dark cherry aromas and hints of undergrowth. The palate is fine and delicate with velvety layers of dried and ripe cherries, lifted white pepper spice and some ripe tomato-like depth. Tannins are fine, and drive the long, savoury finish.
