A lighter style of Sangiovese, made in a style the Italian's call Novello. It is best enjoyed in its youth and even with a slight chill in warmer weather.
Bright pale ruby. Delicate nose of red berries, pot pourri and wood smoke. Fresh and vibrant, medium-weight yet packed with flavour, showing as sour cherry, red plum and cranberry with hints of charcuterie, exotic spice and black tea. Varietal and velvety.
