Mataro can be a big wine, and this is one of the most generous we've seen, yet it manages to fit all that flavour into a surprisingly elegant frame. Remarkable.
Opaque red black. Rich blackcurrant, plum compote, black pepper and charry oak. Fresh, fruit-driven and very full-bodied, with massive fruit concentration throughout, very deep tannins, deluxe cedary oak, and balanced acidity. A meal in a glass!
