Petite Sirah is also known as Durif, and this is one of finest examples we've seen. A single vineyard wine that the Panel described as 'an iron fist without the velvet glove.'
Opaque purple to black. Intense dark currant, cassis, cedar and espresso aromas. Massively dense and concentrated, with an impenetrable core of black fruit, chocolate and clove, unbelievably dense tannins, and plenty of toasty oak in support.
