Fruit was sourced from the De Bortoli-owned Shelley’s Vineyard on the eastern edge of the Rutherglen region, and 2024 provided a superb vintage for this variety.
Youthful deep red in appearance. Red berry, cola and dried herb aromas. Medium-bodied with fleshy depth of red and purple fruit, savoury notes of sarsaparilla, cedar and spice, chalky tannins and bright balancing acidity. A lovely 'Sangio'.
