De Iuliis Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Mike De Iuliis sourced fruit from the cool climate Hilltops region to craft this Cabernet. Whilst drinking well now, careful cellaring for a couple of years will ensure continued development.
 
In the glass: Glossy garnet red.
On the nose: Cassis and a touch of tomato leaf.
On the palate: Intensely varietal blackcurrant, cassis and wild thyme – vibrantly fruited in a medium bodied frame with soft, approachable tannins. Quite delicious, juicy and surprisingly soft for such a young Cabernet.
