Originally from Italy, the De Iuliis family established their Hunter vineyards in the 1990s. With Mike De Iuliis as winemaker, they produce wines of great character and regionality like this delicious 2013 Shiraz.
Deep red purple in the glass, this Shiraz opens with black fruit, black pepper, juniper and toasty oak aromas. The palate is medium weight, vibrant and savoury with a mouth-watering balance of black fruits, silken tannins and refreshing acidity. Well integrated oak is evident.
