From the outstanding 2016 Coonawarra vintage, this is a superb mature example of Cabernet, and shows why Coonawarra is world-famous for this variety.
Youthful dark red colour. Plum, mulberry, liquorice and cedar aromas. Some development alongside the bright core of blue and red fruit, with lovely savoury oak, hints of white pepper, cola and leather, fine tannins, and a long, savoury finish.
