Di Giorgio Family Montepulciano 2014

A Gold medal-winner at the 2015 National Wine Show, this Montepulciano pays homage to the Di Giorgio family’s Italian heritage and shows the wonderful versatility of the Coonawarra region.
 
In the glass: Deep red purple.
On the nose: Bramble, plum, liquorice and sweet spice.
On the palate: Full of flavour and intensity with good depth of black fruit and savoury, mouth-watering tannins. A really savoury yet silky wine with oak sitting in the background and all elements in place. Will show its best with some time in the cellar.
