With his Domaine de Binet label, winemaker Dan Binet pushes the boundaries of the Hunter’s traditional varieties. Petit Verdot fits that mould and with his 2013 vintage Dan proves that this Bordeaux variety does well in Australia’s oldest region.
This Petit Verdot has an intense nose of spicy, minty dark fruit, coffee and cedary oak. The sweet, dark and fleshy palate is powerful yet stylish showing rich curranty fruit, velvety tannins, refreshing acidity and long cedary persistence.
