This zesty Semillon from Drayton’s will only get better with age - drinking well now until 2017 - and it is a great example of why Hunter Valley Semillon is admired the whole world round for its flavour and regional characteristics.
Pale lemon with a subtle green hue, this young Semillon displays a mix of lemon zest, lemongrass, apple and faint musk on the nose. Zesty and tight, it has fresh acidity and a lemony core with hints of lemonade, quinine, talc and straw flavours and vibrant minerally length.
