2019 was an excellent Hunter vintage and yields were low, with the wines showing good concentration and structure, and this Shiraz from Drayton's is no exception.
Inky dark red. Amaro, anise, blackberry and black pepper. Rich, dark and dense blackberry, mulberry, cedar and pepper spice, deep tannin foundation, elegant acidity, touches of earth and dark chocolate and a dry, savoury finish.
