The Maluna vineyard was originally planted back in the early 1800s, making it likely to be one of the earliest planted in Australia.
In the winery: The grapes were hand picked, crushed and wild yeast fermented in French oak. Further oak maturation for 8 months.
In the glass: Medium lemon green.
On the nose: Apple, peach, hazelnut, nougat and struck match aromas.
On the palate: Fine-boned and complex with a vibrant core of yellow fruit, complex nutty notes, long, energetic acidity and plenty of deluxe oak.
