Drawing on over 30 years of Hunter Valley viticulture and winemaking experience, the Bainton Family has produced an appealing Shiraz that’s a delicious match to a host of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes.
Full red purple in the glass, this Shiraz opens with rich dark berry, wet earth and lifted cassis aromas. The palate shows lovely texture with a ripe core of curranty fruit and spicy, cedary oak. Some secondary notes are starting to appear, adding cassis and licorice to the ripe and warm finish.
