Elderton High Altitude Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Fruit was sourced from the Craneford Vineyard that sits at an altitude of 390m-425m. This high alititude gives a cooler climate that is perfect for the later ripening Cabernet Sauvignon.
 
In the glass: Medium to deep red.
On the nose: Mocha lift over black fruit.
On the palate: Showing plum and currant fruit core, firm yet ripe tannins and juicy persistence. Well structured and drinking nicely now, but will further reward with time in the cellar.
