Falcon Ridge Reserve Merlot 2013

Esteemed winemaker John Baruzzi has been in the business for over 25 years and his experience certainly shines through in this reserve Hunter Merlot. Exclusive to Wine Selectors, it’s been made from select parcels of fruit.
 
Youthful red purple in the glass, it displays a pure compote of black fruit, olive, crushed leaf and charry oak on the nose. Rich and plush with layers of sweet black fruits in an almost plum pudding style, the palate has ripe tannins, toasty oak and savoury acidity with a long juicy finish.
